About
Real conversations. Real actors. Real results.
We help managers and teams around the world learn through doing, not just listening.
Since 1998 our experienced role-play actors and coaches have worked with leaders to build the assertive communication skills that last.
We empower people to handle challenging conversations with clarity, deliver presentations that actually land, and lead with the kind of presence that shifts how a team operates.
When does real-time learning with real-life actors make all the difference for HR professionals? When you are seeing some familiar warning signs:
- Feedback is avoided.
- Presentations are forgettable.
-
Teams are not collaborating well.
- Leaders are not seeing the results they want.

Lisa Peers
Founder & CEO, Peers and Players
Lisa Peers is a professional actor, director, coach, and facilitator with a rare gift: helping people find their voice, and use it powerfully at work.
Trained at the prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in Australia, Lisa enjoyed a long career across stage, screen, and studio. Her film credits span classics like Sunday Too Far Away and Monkey Grip, stage roles in Fool for Love and Catholic School Girls, which she also produced. She’s appeared in Finding Nemo, hosted Candid Camera Australia, and lent her voice to countless training videos, narrations, and industrial films globally.
The daughter of two actors who met in a radio studio, Lisa grew up in rehearsal rooms and backstage. Acting was not just a profession, it was her first language. She brings that lifetime of performance, observation, and insight into her work, using theatre-based techniques to help others grow.
Lisa added the study of human psychology to her toolkit, especially training in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), SBI, MBTI and other modalities to her repertoire of coaching skills.
In 1998, Lisa founded Peers and Players to bring the actor’s toolkit into the corporate world. Since then, she has trained and cast hundreds of professional roleplay actors and coaches globally, supporting communication skills development for organizations of all sizes – from small nonprofits to global tech companies.
Lisa is known for creating safe, dynamic environments where professionals can rehearse real conversations, elevate their presence, and connect with clarity and authenticity. Her passion? Helping people express their unique message with confidence, credibility, and impact.
