With over 20+ years of experience, Obie Sims, a trained actor attended Playhouse West Repertory Theatre in Los Angeles, CA. He has booked over two dozen roles on national commercials (Dodge, Applebees, Visa). He has worked in film (Vice), and has landed a number of roles on episodic television (Law and Order: SVU, Grey’s Anatomy, Gossip Girl).

A graduate of Boston University and a Maryland native, Obie has extensive role playing experience with Coca-Cola, Kirkland and Ellis and Blackboard, INC just to name a few. In addition to role play and professional acting work, Obie is also a viral comedy content creator.

Obie Sims

Nate has been performing, writing and producing for stage and screen since 1990. he also creates original content for movies and series. Nate spent 15 years in NYC, as an award winning comedian and the most tenured improv teacher at the People’s Improv Theater. As a corporate improv workshop instructor, role player and team builder, Nate’s list of corporate clients include P.W.C., Morgan Stanley, Johns Hopkins, Google, Disney, and the U.S. Olympic Team. Before working full time as an actor, corporate trainer, coach and teacher, Nate worked as a film maker where he produced corporate films for clients such as IBM, PODS Moving and Storage, the Philadelphia 76ers and Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Nate Starkey

As an actor with a BA, he has worked extensively in theatre and on screen. In the corporate setting, Michael has held positions ranging from executive level assistant to guest relations for corporate events. Based in NY, Michael regularly participates in corporate roleplay and high level coaching for financial advisers, tech team members, medical students the military and works with international communication skills providers. He has performed roleplay, coaching and facilitation for more than a decade.

Michael Satow

With an NLP Master Practitioner qualification, her role-play and facilitation experience is extensive, across the UK, Australia, US and Netherlands. She has expertise in Diversity Issues, Performance Management and has facilitated Presentation Skills workshops. A prior Youth Group Coordinator for UK Theatre programs, currently she is the facilitator for the Directing Program at San Francisco’s Bindlestiff Theatre Company. LI-Leng has worked with Peers and Players in australia and across the USA, as a senior facilitator, program developer and roleplay actor.

Li-Leng Au

Founder and CEO of Peers and Players, Lisa trained at NIDA in Australia. Since 1998 she has cast, trained and directed corporate actors. A TV, film and tv actor and theatre in Australia and the USA. A director, producer, voice artist and actor, credits include A Place to Call Home – as Miriam Goldberg, GP, Home and Away, All Saints, Sunday Too Far Away, Monkey Grip, Fool for Love, Catholic School Girls, and Finding Nemo.

Lisa Peers

Peruvian Native, whose dramatic arts training led to performances in New York City, Florida, California, Alabama, and most recently, North Carolina. Credits include “Leaving Eden,” (an original play produced by Playmakers Repertory Company), interactive Shakespearean performances, and historical interpretations such as The Lost Colony of Roanoke Island, North Carolina. Jonathan has also trained in improvisational leadership coaching, virtual reality and live-action role-play. Along with being a player in productions such as Anna in the Tropics, How I Learned to Drive, and The Aliens, Jonathan also includes stagecraft technician to his line of work.

Jonathan Varillas

Juan Isler, a native of Kinston, NC. with d a music-business degree at Winston-Salem State University. He has worked on more than 50 plays in venues across the Triangle as actor, technician and director, and is resident sound designer at Justice Theater Project. He also serves on various boards, and leadership committee at Pure Life Theater. He is a member of the American Theater Critics Association and a recipient of the Raleigh Arts Commission’s Medal of Arts award. He is the host of t TORN. Juan has worked with Peers and Players since 2019 as an actor/coach on regular Courageous Conversations sessions.

Juan Isler

Jorge Lopes is a Cape Verdean/American Actor, producer, and writer known for playing Ally Boy in the Amazon Prime film Convicted (2017) and for his role as Detective Raymond in the Amazon Prime film Fourth Quarter(2018). Jorge has been called the “Dependable Actor” by world-renowned industry coach Susan Batson. His degree in journalism from Suffolk University serves as a catalyst for researching and building the three dimensional characters he portrays.

Jorge has written, contributed and ghost written several films. Jorge’s passion is to tell uplifting stories, live an inspirational life and share that inspiration with the world. He is a key member of our Courageous Conversations team.

Jorge Lopes

An Executive Coach with professional experience in the United States and abroad. He has worked with IT companies, firms, law firms, and financial institutions. With aa emphasis on practicable, experiential learning in group and one-on-one, he guides clients at all levels of management towards more facile, specific and dynamic communication. Based in New York, he works in presentation strategy and execution, influencing skills and cultured, effective and efficient interviewing and transformational feedback delivery

James Seol

Frank has performed in the US and internationally, starring in musicals. In NYC, Frank worked as a Mentor/Coach, helping young adults develop leadership abilities through the Arts, focusing on communication and conflict resolution skills. As Market Manager for advertising and branding companies, he trained and supervised teams of brand ambassadors and coaching were integral parts of the training process. He is a key member of Peers and Players in Las Vegas and Los Angeles.
